Rainy Day Fun=]

My friend, Hannah, wants to know how to cure boredom on rainy days. Rainy days seem boring because the lighting is more drab and it reminds people of night time which is when people sleep. The sound of the rain adds a calming affect to this. Rain limits activity possibilities. You can't go to the park or the carnival, the beach isn't as fun, and your stuck inside forced to find something to do. Well you have more options than you think; there's more to do than just watch TV. My mother would suggest cleaning, and that's a great idea if that's what your into, but if you would like to do something else then I'll put some suggestions below!
READY...
  • Learn to juggle-it's not only for clowns.
  • Make homemade bread-it's the best kind for sandwich's.
  • Learn to change the oil in your car-one day you might need to know.
  • Meet the neighbors-now-a-day's many people don't take the time to get to know the people they live closest to.
  • Play board games-they're called "bored" games for a reason (see what I did there!).
  • Wash the dog-lets be honest, after a while they really start to stink.
  • Have a carpet picnic-because nothing's better than homemade bread on carpet.
  • Have a scary movie marathon-there's nothing better than watching people go nuts in a house while its raining while your watching it happen in a house while it's raining.
  • Draw on the wall with washable crayons-there's nothing better then having your mom yell at you while your cleaning the wall the next day.
  • Start a pillow fight-it's a safe, LEGAL way to gang up on someone.
  • Make a pet rock-they're the best listener.
  • Direct a mini-movie-who doesn't want to be a director.
  • Go OUTSIDE and splash in some puddles-your never too old to play in the puddles!
  • Start a blog-it's working fine for me.
  • Microwave some s'mores-THEY'RE THE BEST!
  • Go a whole day without speaking-if someone suggest this to you then you know you talk to much; this happens to me only too much.=]
  • PURPLE GORILLAS!
That last one was for you mom! I hope this helped you guys. Comment if you have some more great ideas of what to do on rainy days.
Thanks for reading.=]

Mother's Day Special!

So my friend, Jake, asked a great question. Where is the best place to eat for Mother's Day? Many people go out for Mother's Day, no matter if it's to Olive Garden or McDonald's. People usually take their mothers to a more expensive place because they think they're mom will notice the price and be impressed. To be completely honest, THEY DON'T CARE! Our lovely mother's could care less about how much you pay, they just wanna know that you care about them. For our entire lives, our mothers have been there; cooking, cleaning, watching after us, and making sure we are doing the best we can. No matter if we succeed or fail, they are always there cheering us on, and the best we can do to show our appreciation is to buy them a twenty dollar plate at Olive Garden? As nice of a gesture that might be, I think we can do better. Make them breakfast while they're sleeping and take it to them for breakfast in bed. Make them a lovely three course meal; it doesn't have to be too expensive, remember, it's the thought that counts. You could start off with a simple salad, add on a quick entree, and finally the dessert! The dessert if the most important part if you ask me. The appetizer and entree are great, but the dessert is like a sweet reminder of how great they are. If your having trouble deciding then check out some of the recipes below.

Spongebob, Belly Button Piercings, Facebook, Heroes!

Spongebob, Belly Button Piercings, Facebook, Heroes. What do these for subjects have in common you may ask, my friend Brittany, that's what. She was kind enough to give me a few topics for my very first blog. She gave me four very interesting questions that she demands an answer to.

Why does Spongebob rock?

Well Brittany, we grew up with Spongebob. He taught us how to tie our shoes, how to get a blow bubbles, but most importantly, how to cook a krabby patties. Spongebob was great, he had a song for everything! Not many people can honestly say they don't know the C-A-M-P F-I-R-E S-O-N-G Song or the Goofy Goober song. Many older people point out the way Spongebob acts, or the close relationship between Spongebob and Patrick, but they need to realize that kids don't think of it like that. Yes, Spongebob does rock. Why? Because he isn't afraid to be himself or to stand out.

Why are belly button piercings bad to parents?

I don't think they're necessarily "bad" to parents, they just don't prefer them. I'm not a parent so I couldn't tell you the exact reason but parents know that teens don't usually get piercings in places that are usually hidden (dermal's on the back, belly button, hips, tongue) just because they want it but also because they want to show others. The stomach is a usually covered by clothes and parents want to keep it that way but if you get your belly button pierced and you want to show someone you need to lift up your shirt enough for others to see it. I don't think parents think belly button piercings are bad, they just don't want that specific area exposed.

Why is Facebook addictive?

Facebook is a way to socialize with friends without being face to face with them. Most people like this for the same reason they like cellular devices, because they don't have to physically go somewhere to meet the other person; it saves time and money. On Facebook you can like status', play games, tell people about your life, talk to friends, meet distant relatives, ect. It's just so busy, so many things to do. People become addicted to Facebook because it keeps them from being bored; they like the fact that they can do so much. Although they don't usually fulfill all the possibilities, they like knowing they can if they wanted to.

Who is Your Hero?

My personal hero would have to be my mom. I know that's super cliche, especially on mother's day, but she just does so much. She has been a single mother for the past seven or eight years and even through all the hard times we've been through she never gave up. My mom works two jobs, one to pay the bills, the other to keep food on the table. I have no clue how she does what she does. My mom is like a super hero, she does everything she needs to get done with enough time to take on some emergence calls from me, my brother, and my sister. On another note, my favorite super hero is the Hulk. Why? Because, he's a big green dude who smashes things.
Welp, thanks for reading! I hope you liked it!
